Dashboard not showing

  • Windows ran an auto update this morning and since then when I open the Dashboard the screen is blank except the top line where the logo is.
    If I scroll all the way to the right some of the dashbaord or editing functions are visible.
    I have tried reloaded windows update.
    The problem does not appear in Firefox.
    Any help would be appreicated.
