Dashboard-pages-edit and view (edit & view not matching content at all)

  • When I go to pages from the dashboard…

    My view is TOTALLY DIFFERENT from the edit version. I don’t mean that one is edit version and the other is live. I mean totally different content. I was thinking maybe I did it in Elementor and that is why it is not looking the same. But, I wouldn’t think so. I don’t know. I think I did it in wordpress anyway.

    Could Categories make that kind of a change?

    You see, I can’t change themes unless this is fixed because this is my home page and when I try to change themes it pulls up the “edit” content which is just one picture and a welcome to the wordpress start up introduction to what a page on wordpress looks like. It has nothing that i created on it.

    I tried posting a Snipit video or a picture so you can see what im talking about, but it this thread won’t let me.

    Content made with Elementor will appear very different when viewed in a different editor. But as long as Elementor plugin is active, front end appearance should be the same as within the Elementor editor.

    If you’re sure you did not use Elementor, the content in the block editor should match the front end content, though sometimes layout and styling will be different.

    If even the textual content is not the same, then there’s something odd about your theme. I suggest seeking further help through your theme’s dedicated support channel.

    You cannot embed content from some video and image sharing sites in these forums, but providing a plain link to their source should be acceptable.
