Dashboard shows an error message

The error is below:

Cannot read property 'slug' of undefined

    in WidgetAreaRenderer
    in div
    in WidgetContextRenderer
    in DashboardApp
    in GoogleSitekitDashboard
    in RestoreSnapshots
    in ErrorHandler
    in Root

EDIT 1:
This is on a completely new site, installed a theme and a few plugins. The domain is also new and was never connected to GSC or GA before. I have just installed the plugin and run through the initial setup process. So at this point just the GSC is now configured.

EDIT 2:
Just configured GA and GPI and they both worked correctly. Both new setup as well. Yet without a dashboard I cannot really make full use of them ??
