After updating ocean extra this morning the update appeared to fail, and shortly thereafter the screen went white and now I’m unable to even access the log-in screen. The site is not even accessible. What is the best way to recover from this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I just looked into my host provider’s default PHP version and found it to be 5.2. After updating to the latest version everything works fine. I didn’t know I could manually update PHP within my cPanel. Old dogs can learn new tricks.

Hi there, it happened to me too, error 500 after upgrade

delete oceanextra from cpanel direktori plugin. then download oceanextra again with older version. it work for me. https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/ocean-extra/advanced/ download previous version here

Same issue after updating. Error 500 and 400 on additional pages. Rolled back to the previous version and everything is working again.

    +1

Disabling/Renaming the OceanWP folder via cPanel made the site come alive again. Rolling back to the last working version following the instructions of the previous poster @nandadavid until a new update is available.

BTW, I do not think any of the above solutions merit the “Resolved” status. For me, this is not resolved at all.

Hello everyone, int he latest version of Ocean Extra I just changed one little thing about the Scripts & Styles page, it shouldn’t cause this issue, check your PHP version, it is not PHP 7, upgrade to it and see if it solves the issue.
