• I just moved my site to a new host, MochaHost. It took some doing because of their naming defaults, but most of my site is loading. However, I can’t get the dashboard to come up for the administrator ID.

    I tried:
    – clearing cache & cookies
    – restarting workstation
    – removing all plugins
    – invoking wp-admin.php manually
    – enabling debug through wp-config.php (returned some errors when plugins were installed)

    I use the 2011 theme.

It sees the database, and I can log in as any user (that I remember the password for). I get the small bar at the top of the screen that has the WordPress dropdown on the left and the user name on the right.

Hovering over the user name drops the box shoing the avatar, user name, user ID and ‘Log Out’.

    The site URL is News.4-HHistoryPreservation.com

Any thoughts as to what to try next?

    TIA,
    Rick

    Forgot…

    WordPress 4.5.2

    Also tried disabling all plugins.

Never mind. I just deleted the whole thing and started from scratch, adding plugins and themes back one at a time. My posts are restored, but none of the associated tags and the users. Some creative editing of the original SQL backup file should fix that.
