Start with renaming your plugins folder to plugins-old.

None of these methods either pertain to my problem or weren’t very helpful..i tried the plugins thing but it didn’t work..

    Upgrade or fresh install ?

Did you try changing your theme?

If you can’t get in, you can do it via FTP as well. This time you’d want to make a good backup of the themes folder and then delete everything BUT the Twenty Eleven theme.

i deleted all the themes but twentyeleven, but the problem isnt the themes, its the dashboard..its not how it should look, i tried re-installing it manually and automatically but nothing seems to work..

Themes can affect your dashboard. Truth ??

Can you check your PHP settings and see if JSON is enabled?

    Hi,

Did anyone get a fix for this? Im having the same issue – site is fine but when I login the dashboard will not appear at all…

    Any/all help appreciated… Thanks

I am with you on the dashboard issues. i recently went for a HP laptop to a MacBook Pro. When I went to my blog https://www.listentometoday.com and logged into ADMIN, all of the dash board was gone except the administration to where I could change personal information, password, color etc. Nothing else is on the dashboard tool bar on the right. I have tried a number of frivolous attempts to get all back, but have not been able to ….I can not make a post, add plugins … nothing. Prior to switching to over to Apple, I could do any and everything. Any ideas?
