• In the Post editor on the dashboard the area to type posts and edit them is no longer white. Instead its the same dark color I made the wordpress page background. It’s as if where I were typing right now was suddenly dark green. How can I fix this?

    Please help

    Try:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    I had already deactivated plugins

I switched to 2016 and the dark background went away. But when I switched back to Bota the problem came back.

Seems to be in the wp-editor-area

This indicates problem with your theme.

I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/bota so the plugin’s or theme’s developers and support community can help you with this.
