.dat file shows as invalid

Hello there

I am trying to install the child theme for oceanwp as I want to edit the functions.php file to disable all image links (basically I don’t want users to be able to right click on an image and “open in a new tab” as it shows my image link). If there is any way to be able to hide/disable/mask all of my product image links without installing the child theme – this would be much preferred.

Anyways I exported my .dat file via the oceanwp customizer and then installed the child theme via github. After activating the child theme and attempting to import the previously exported .dat file, it keeps coming up with a notification that says “invalid import data”. I have also attempted to switch the theme back to the basic oceanwp – then exporting – then switching to child theme – and importing – to no avail. I have now switched back to the parent theme as my website was all messed up due to this.
