    GA4 is showing “Data collection isn’t active for your website” under Web stream details. Site Kit is installed and all services are active with no errs and seem to be collecting data in GA4. Additionally, I have no JS console errs in Chrome Devtools, I have no coming soon plugins and site indexing is allowed. I can even see myself in the realtime area in GA4 Any ideas anyone?

    Just some context- I need a way to identify certain pages in analytics as a group so I can create a Data Studio traffic report. I was hoping that I can use a data layer variable to mark the pages and then create a custom event in GA4 that identifies the pages I need. Maybe this is not the best practice so any recommendations would be welcome.

    Hello @smartguyus thanks for getting in touch. Can you confirm where you are seeing the “Data collection isn’t active for your website” message? Is it within the Site Kit plugin or your Analytics account?

    Sure. In GA4 Admin, under web data streams. My site is defined by default. Everything looks good but when you open the data stream at the very top it says “Data collection isn’t active for your website. If you installed tags more than 48 hours ago, make sure they are set up correctly.”

    @smartguyus Thanks for confirming. As this seems to be in your Analytics platform account and not the Site Kit plugin we are limited in the support we can provide. I would recommend going through the steps here to check everything is set up as it should be.

    If you are still then experiencing issues I would suggest asking a question on the Analytics Help Center where someone will be able to help you further.
