• In regards to the Data Editor extension; is re-arranging the order of the cells and option?

The goal is to make the excel export match the layout of my clients existing excel doc.

No. Forgetting the editor, you can create an Excel export link from the Shortcode page and use “show” to list the columns you want to export in the order that you want them. Then you can use that link to export instead of going to the admin page.

Awesome! Is there a way to add a blank column? My client has some spaces in their excel doc they need, but that don’t need to appear on the intake form. I’d like to put blank columns in to match these columns in his excel doc.

I think if you just put the name of a column that does not exist in the form data in “show” then the export will have that column with all blanks.

That works perfect! Do I have to choose which fields/columns I want to display every time I want to export or is there a way to save the layout?

The plugin doesn’t save it. You can either save the URL yourself on a page
or put the equivalent [cfdb-export-link] shortcode on a page. You can also make that page private.
