I created a new site and added Site Kit.
Created a new Google account, Set up Search Console / Analytics.

My Site-Kit Settings Screen is showing all the services are ‘Connected’ with a tick next to it.

BUT the Dashboard is complaining “Data error in Search Console
User does not have sufficient permission …”

I have the latest PHP / WordPress / Plugins, disabled all potentially conflicting plugins, made sure the site URL and WordPress URL are same in WordPress Settings, and made sure the Search Console has ownership verification (via TXT on DNS).

I have used the same user account which I used to add the domain property in Search Console.

@bizx Thanks for reporting, hopefully we can assist. As you’ve already verified can you attempt resetting Site Kit again and setup from a new browser incognito window? Sometimes browser caching can result in altering Google accounts if logged in previously. When connecting the various modules use the same Google account for all services as you did already.

Can you let me know the below if the above fails to resolve your dashboards from populating:
    – Are you a GSuite user?
    – Are you logged into WordPress as full admin, without any additional permissions or users plugins?
    – Can you share your Site Health information?
    – Can you check your Search Console account and ensure you have only one property for that domain, there may be one property with the www prefix and another without?

@shreyanshk9 If the above fails to resolve your issue please open a new support topic. WordPress support requires each user to create their own topic as opposed to adding to existing topics.

@bizx could you try the setup process again by resetting Site Kit ( Site Kit > Settings > Admin Settings > Reset Site Kit) and let us know if you are able to complete the connection to Search Console?

Same exact issue and so frustrating.

@bizx could you provide us the following information to find the source of the issue:

    1) What is your URL?
    2) What are both the WordPress and Site Address under Settings > General?
    3) How is your site listed in Search Console?
    4) Which versions of the site for your Google Account are listed here on the Webmaster Central Website?

    Thanks so much!

@bizx Since we have not heard from you, I have marked your support topic as resolved. If your issue isn’t resolved, please reopen the topic with the information requested and we’d be happy to assist.
