Hello, my question concerns several Google services, including Site Kit. I searched the Google help forums for answers and didn’t really get an explanation, so I’m trying here. If you have an answer or at least a track, thank you in advance.
I want to understand the data inconsistencies between the different services Site Kit, Analytics (UA and GA4) and Adsense. For any random date, the user and pageview metrics (among others) are not the same.
April 17 users: UA=1,653, GA4=1,688, Site kit=1,651 (and Adsense does not provide this data).
April 17 pageviews: UA=9,542, GA4=5,298, Adsense=10,065 (and Sitekit does not provide this data).
For users, the difference is small, but for page views, it is significant. In addition, Adsense indicates page views with advertisements, I do not understand how I can have more page views with advertisements than page views at all.
I’d like to know for sure what’s going on, more so with the next move to GA4. 5,000 page views and 10,000 page views is not the same result for my boss ??

Hello @sophiaknows and thank you for your questions. With regards to your query on the Analytics user and pageview metrics, Site Kit currently only supports the display of UA(Universal Analytics) data and not yet GA4 within it’s dashboards. You can find out more information on this in our?Using Google Analytics 4 (GA4)?guide.

Here you will also find our?GitHub issue?for further GA4 work so please feel free to follow this for future updates on GA4 within Site Kit. This will be why you can see the discrepancy between Analytics data in the Site Kit dashboard. You can quickly jump to your Analytics account from the Site Kit dashboard by clicking on the?Source: Analytics?quick link which will take you to your account where you will be able to view your GA4 data.

We are making good progress on the GA4 reporting with the sunsetting of UA Analytics properties coming up so please keep an eye on this as we look to roll this out soon. This will not stop the data being tracked.

With regards to your query on AdSense page views with advertisements, I would recommend checking the AdSense Help Center where others should be able to help address this.

I hope this helps to explain the Analytics data for you and I hope you can get the answers you’re looking for regarding the AdSense query. Let me know if there is anything else on Site Kit I can help you with.
