Data Not Added Into Widget after 35 sidebars – A Limit?

  • Hello,

    I have 60 custom sidebars setup for various areas of a site under development (great plugin up until this issue by the way), I have 3 widgets per sidebar (textblock for state metro, addtoany sharing block & another text block).

    After I did about 30 states I moved to the next state and boom – no more data is being saved into my widget text block?? I inncreased memory via my server plus within settings.php and restarted my server but no luck still. Coding 100% the same way as previous 30 states, seems not to want to save the info. I did not add any new plugins either, was just in a nice flow of work then hit this brickwall.

    I am lost to why this plugin is not allowing more data to be saved into the widgets and kind of in a bad spot now.

    After building WP sites for over 12 years this is my first time I ever had to get a forum posting help but please if anyone has more ideas I would love to hear them?

    I figured it out and there was a character limit. I went w/ more sidebar shsortcodes to be able to get more data in for those who run into this.

    @button9, if you’re seeing an issue with the text widgets limiting the number of characters, could I ask for you to check that you don’t have a plugin limiting that and also that you don’t have CSS restricting it?

    Perhaps you could try deactivating other plugins and switching to Twenty Fifteen theme to see if the issue persists?

    We’ll gladly take a look if that’s still an issue, just let us know if so.
