I am trying to create a data table, that shows Post Custom Field. When I select Dynamic Tags and choose “Post Custom Field”, then select the key, the name of the column updates in the Elementor editor on the left, but the data in the table remains “column”. I have tried updating the page and viewing it, and it definitely isn’t displaying. The link to the page is an image highlighting the issue, as I don’t want to make the page live with this not working. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @garthbpos, Sorry for the inconvenience. Could you please check if you are using the latest version or not ! Make sure that you are using FREE [3.9.1] and PRO [3.6.2] both the latest version.

Also check once after clear cache, to regenerate assets, you can go to wp-admin -> Essential Addons then, switch to the ‘Tools’ tab and hit the ‘Regenerate Assets’ button. Check out this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/pvozsx

Also, make sure to Regenerate Files from wp-admin -> Elementor -> Tools as well. Then, check back.

If you are using caching plugin, you need to purge the cache from your plugin option.

Hopefully it will fix the issue. Let me know how it goes.

    Thank you.

Thanks @tushar284, I am definitely running the latest version (Free 3.9.1). I have now regenerated assets and files. I am not using a cache plugin, and the issue is still happening.

Out of interest I tried a couple of other EA widgets, like Accordion and I can insert the custom fields fine in it, in the content.

    Thanks again for the help.

Apparently the Data Table doesn’t support dynamic content. I have tried multiple ways now, including using ACF shortcode and definitely not working, even though the option to insert dynamic content is there.

I would have thought that a data table would definitely support dynamic content! Oh well.

Just in case anyone else comes across this, I was able to solve the problem using Tablepress and inserting the ACF shortcodes into the required cells, then adding the Tablepress table on the Elementor template.
