data tables buttons not working

    first of all let me tell you that your plugin is greatest! but here i’m going to describe a small problem.
    i’m able to show exporting buttons with a normal table but i’m unable to export any format of tables which have combined cells, buttons for combined cells tables are not shown. i need to export at least pdf version. any help will be much appreciated

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Unfortunately, I’ll have to disappoint you here. The DataTables JS library, which is the foundation for those export buttons, does not support tables with combined cells ??
    Thus, there is no possibility to use the buttons here.

    Your best option should be to export your table to Excel and then create a PDF file there, which you then offer for download on the page with the table.
