    Hi there,

No, Ecwid doesn’t add any tables to the website database. All product and order data is stored in secure cloud storage. And if we save some data on the website, we use WP’s official API, but we don’t create any tables.

I hope this information helps! If you have more questions, please feel free to ask here or contact us at [email protected]

Thank you so much for the information. I didn’t think you did but wanted to confirm.

    No problem!

Can I also ask you why you wanted to know this? Is there maybe some particular reason and we will be able to help you with it?

Sure, I set up a client site many many years ago using EWCID (before there was a WP plugin). I recently came back in to clean some stuff up and do a redesign and found tons of obviously ecommerce tables in the DB.

So before deleting, just wanted to confirm they were 100% not ECWID related.
