wordpress with plugin installs and works fine.
when I copy the .ht.sqlite file to local host I can’t read it with phpsqlite or sqliteman data browsers. I get an error along the lines saying “its probably not a database file”. any ideas on how to get around this? thanks for all your help.

    Hello,

Thank you for a report, ephernet.

If your installation succeeded and you can access your WordPress installed server,
your database will be OK, I guess.

How did you download .ht.sqlite file? Did you use any ftp client softwares?
If you use one, will you try Binary mode?

Some ftp clients are set to ASCII mode when they download a dot file. This will corrupt
    the database file.
