Database backup done! Restart will be executed now.

  • I have a database of 44.6Mb and files of 268.43Mb.

    When the job is started it back ups database and stops and the following message appears on the log and the job seems to be stopped/stuck.

    “Database backup done! Restart will be executed now.”

    I have already tried Maximum script execution time to 300seconds from the settings.

    And also tried,
    Setting
    max_execution_time to 500 &
    memory_limit to 1024m
    through wp-config.php,

    But didn’t get solved.

  • Hi, I don’t know if this will help you or not but thought I’d let you know how I fixed this problem.

    I was having the ‘Database backup done! Restart will be executed now” message. I removed and updated the username and password under BackWPup > Settings > Network and saved and then ran the backup job again and all went well.

    It worked for me, might work for you, then again it might not ??

    I have no username/password set there, so that would not solve my problem. But thanks for the suggestion.

    Thanks for the hint i will test for it. And will look if i can improve it.
