Database backup settup doesn't work…

  • Hi,
    I have a huge probleme with the plug-in… I don’t know why: I set it to sent backup by email, but it doesn’t work he save it on the server… But not just one.. I have 14 backups in the folder… And not just at each day or 2… each 5 minutes… it’s overload my server and I can’t upload anything else…

    iThemes-securiy virus or a bug? (The bug was there before I update de plug-in to iTheme.)

    I hope I’m clear, english is not my first language… Thanks, if someone can help me.

  • The backups can be sent by email and the space between these emails are defined in days, not minutes. The value of days between these emails can be configured in the backend in Security -> Settings.

    I don’t mind saving on the server, but why 14 backups? And I’m pretty sur he would do more if it was not overloaded by the others backups he did before…
    When I say every 5 minutes, it’s because it’s the laps between each save, and when I deleted files from the server he re-save other backup again…

    it’s me who don’t understand how it’s supposed to work? I realy don’t understand why I nedd to do more than one backup file and why he don’t overwrite the last one?

    It might be possible: it do a backup of each table in my wp bd? and that why I have more than one backup on my sever?

    That may be possible. Just ensure that the backup makes just one backup of the entire database, not just tables individually.
