Database connection issue, But host is fine

  • OK, I’m getting the databse connection issue on install. This is the third wordpress install I’ve done, and I’ve never had this problem. I’ve check the username, password, and host name a thousand times. I’ve asked my host (godaddy.com) and they say their servers are fine. I also have the other two blogs running fine off the same host. (mind you all these blogs are different sites)

    Is there something else I might be missing?

  • The only other thing could be the URL. Does godaddy have more than one MySQL servers? Could the one you have in there be wrong?
