• I am looking for a hack or plugin to help me manage bulk content. for example, lets say I use WordPress to manage a website that has an inventory of books. What I was planning on doing was creating categories for the common headings, Author, Title, etc… I would enter each book as a post, then I would want to be able to display a list of them on a page, either alphabetically or by some other sort order… I figured I would need a page for Author, a page for Title, etc… in order to display the proper content on each page…

First of all, I am not sure if categories and posts are the proper choice, and second, I am not able to accomplish what I want with the standard install…

Can someone help out with a plugin or suggest a hack? Maybe link to a tutorial or code example?

    I hope this makes sense…

    Thanks!!

Any thoughts? Is more information required?

Yes, I would like to know too! Please help us out!

I am also searching a plugin that can perform such actions.

    Help is really appreciated ??

Well, I wonder that we don’t have success finding a database plugin for content management. I believe there are many needs and it would be phantastic if someone of the cracks would help creating a solution.
I think problem description is easy.
Data should be stored in a flat list with a header line. Retrieval of data should be supported by sort and filter functions applicable on each of the fields within the list. Since I am using heavily EXCEL, the functionality offered there seems to be exactly what we are looking for.
    HELP, please!
Even I would become a true fan of our hero.
    Thanks, Paul

Yes, yes, this is what I need too!
