    Hi,

I’ve used Ai1wm many time in the past, and its only now I’m running into a few issues. I’ve tried searching for an answer before I made a post, but I cant seem to find the answer anywhere.

I’m migrating a LIVE site over to my local (mamp) — it is to overwrite a fresh copy of WordPress 5.1

I’ve been able to migrate my media files over, but when I go to migrate the database, nothing seems to make a change.

The import of the database says it is successful, and I’ve updated the permalinks, *** I noticed that when i clicked the “update permalinks” from the ai1mw dialogue box after importing, it usually logs me out… this time it did not, it just refreshed into the wordpress dashboard

the site seems to be in its default state. Some of the styling is carried over, but all the settings etc. are not there …. things like all the pages that were created, have not been carried over or images.

can someone point me in the right direction to start trouble shooting this?

    other info:
    – using latest ai1mw plugin and ai1mw file extention plugin
    – 5.1 wordpress
    – mamp v 5.2 (351)

Check wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/storage/error.log for any issues during migration.

    thank you Yani,

here’s what i found after looking at the error.log

    Mar 07 2019 15:29:13
    {“Number”:8,”Message”:”unserialize(): Error at offset 27 of 146 bytes”,”File”:”\/Users\/XXX\/Documents\/___WebCodes\/XXXX\/wp-content\/plugins\/all-in-one-wp-migration\/lib\/vendor\/servmask\/database\/class-ai1wm-database-utility.php”,”Line”:64}

im not sure how to assess this? any suggestions?

I’ve tried multiple migrations, I’m receiving the same error

    – everything seems to migrate over: files, themes, images,
    – except for database information.

    – is there a setting that might be conflicting with the import of the database? permissions?

    – I’m also starting to notice that AFTER a migration….

    what was once https://localhost:8888/ xxxxxx
    – is now switching to https://localhost/ xxxxx
    – which then restruns a “site cant be reached, localhost refused to connect….”

    – I have an idea to try, I will reply if it works or not

    — i think i may have found the solution

plugin conflict with “redirection” plugin by John Godley (3.7.3)

I had the option: “…Force a redirect from HTTP to HTTPS. Please ensure your HTTPS is working before enabling (beta)…” checked.

I unchecked it, exported the site and imported it into my local, …works fine now.
