Database Driven Help Needed

  • Good Morning / Evening / Afternoon,

    I have come across a stumbling block and since im not that savvy i obviously need community help. So here is my stumbling block.

    I need to develop a database that has names, surnames, emails, phone numbers, city, state, zipcodes.

    My first question is: What would be the most painless avenue to achieve such a database and what method should i use to build the tables for them to be searched. The table information would be inputted by me for now on a maual level. Names Surnames etc will be covered by me manually.

    Second Question is: If i wanted to call a query by zipcode only for it to display in an only registered members part of a site, what plug in would be needed to query and show such information weather it be a single name or multiple names that reside within a zipcode district.

  • Looks like you need custom post, types, fields, and view templates, something like this

    Sorry for the late reply and greatly appreciate the link. Sadly i needed to re-instal windows as the blue screen nightmare hit along with a corrupt hdd.

    Would like to ask if it snit too much of a problem as i have spent well over half a day simply trying to find a plug in that will do what the link below shows.

    I have seen all the appointment plug ins but they either lack one basic function or im completely blind. I guess after so many hours in front of a monitor i bet its me that is blind and i assume the plug in is staring right at me.

    here’s the site and although the calender is a basic plug in, it is the drop down menu within that allows specific (in this case doctors) to be chosen. This is the function i cant seem to find within the plugins i have gone over.

    They are premium ones though for Events Calendar, don’t know if it will suit your needs though.

    I looked at your calendar’s, but i as you ca see via my previous link, i needed something more minimal in design as its geared to another age group. But once again, thanks a million for the help. ??
