• I am getting this error and my articles are not showing, it happened overnight, nothing new that I did.

  • Doing a search for “error 28” would reveal the only remedy is to contact your host. Only they can fix it.

My host said it’s in the install, I did a search and found a couple blank pages for that, do you have a specific response that I can show my host and let him know what to do?

    1. Change host quickly! If they don’t know what an “error 28” is and how to fix it – they should be out of business.

    2. I had once this same error, and this is what I got from my host after alarming them about the issue:
    Hello Moshu,
    Sorry for the problem.
A critical server directory had overflowed causing this issue for MySQL.
We have corrected this error, and are taking steps to implement safeguards in order to prevent a recurrance of this issue.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or issues to report.

    Thank you,
    — Joseph XXXXX, support management

    3. Again, there is nothing we can do about it.

Thanks Moshu.. I will switch hosts, but I sent him this info to try to get back online ASAP.
