The plugin displays the error Database-Error: "Table 'thecovawordpress.wor8861_eml_queue' doesn’t exist” but the table is present in my database.
All uploaded files are uploaded locally and not externally.
Any idea what’s going on? I’ve had this issue since at least 11/24/24

    Hello,

thank you for your question. I think a quick solution should be to deactivate the plugin and then reactivate it. This will create the missing table.

The table is only used to log events that the plugin captures, it does not help with managing media files, so its absence will not affect your project (except the error).

Of course, it would be interesting to find out why it is missing. Have you been using the plugin for a long time (with a very early version 1.x) and only recently updated to d?

I already deactivate/reactivate it and I still get the error.

So this error is not related to the fact that the plugin saves files locally since ~24/11? (I checked and everything is fine externally in the settings)

I use this plugins since the 1.1.0

The question is more what did you do on 11/24/24? Did you update to version 2 of the plugin that day?

As the database table for logging is missing, it is unfortunately not possible to understand what happens when files are added. So my idea would be to solve the db-table problem first. It’s strange that reactivating the plugin has no effect. Which version do you currently have installed exactly?

The only updates and changes were to Elementor on 11/21 and External files in media library on 11/25

I just tried to activate/deactivate the plugin again and the database error seems to be resolved.
But now I have a No files found under given URL.
    With this url: https://i.ibb.co/TcgNjKb/Highres-Screenshot00013.png

What is strange is that it returns to me No files found, but it is still uploaded the img locally, but nothing externally

Nice that at least the database problem has been solved.

I can store the URL mentioned in the media library without any problems. It is also displayed as externally hosted.

When editing the file in the Media Library, check what information is in the “External File” box. You should also be able to change the hosting of the file there.

If you re-insert the URL, you should also be able to see in the log what exactly was done with it. Under Settings > External Files > Advanced you can also change the log mode so that everything is logged. This allows you to see virtually every single message for a newly inserted file from the moment you change the log mode.

So I think I have a problem with the external.

When I edit, In External File boxe the image is “local hosted”, and I have no possibility to change it from there.

In the logs everything seems good too.

The fact that it is hosted locally is due to the fact that it was saved with login and password. Therefore, you can no longer change the hosting.

When you call up the window to add files are the two fields for login and password prefilled? See:

If so, then your browser or a tool you are using is entering this credentials there as it thinks it is a login-form. As you can only see this if you have segment open, you won’t notice it when you simply paste in a URL. And this way you have added a URL that is hosted locally.

If this is the case for you, I would try to optimize this form for the next update.

The easiest solution for you would be to re-insert the URL and make sure that the two fields are empty.

OMG it was the solution !
Chrome pre-filled the form while it was hidden.

Thank you for the help and quick responses !

I’m glad it’s been solved. I will have to optimize the fields again – with the next update ??

I’ll mark the topic as solved. You are also welcome to leave a rating ??
