Database error and after deleting the new MU, all images have been deleted !

  • I installed the plugin on my MU.

    I tried to add a new site with another language. I got a database error so I had to delete the plugin files with FTP.

    After doing that, I deleted the fresh new website which was useless.
    Bad surprise, all the /upload/ file from my main website has been emptied. No more images, everything has been deleted.

  • I’m skeptical that this has anything to do with Multisite Plugin Manager. Maybe I’m misunderstanding, but it sounds like the deletion of images is a sysadmin error, and not the fault of this plugin.

    Can you let us know what the database error was, in case it’s a problem than can be fixed?

    Yes this plugin has no way of deleting or messing up your uploads directory, especially after it was uninstalled!
