• I am using WordPress and many of the times I face an issue the website is not open properly and shows an error “database error connection issues”, I do not know why this happens, many of the times I call the hosting provider but not get the permanent solution of this problem. Please help I am very frustrated about this problem.

  • This usually happens when your host performs maintenance or restarts the database server. Talk to your host and ask them why it’s happening. If the issue persists or if it’s too frequent, you might want to consider migrating to a better and reliable host. I hope this helps.

    thank you for your reply, if I change hosing, will this resolve my problem?

    Before you go to the trouble of changing Hoster, why not just ask your Hoster if MySQL is running or you can check to see on your own.

    If you are using cPanel then look on the first page, far right-hand side, for “Server Information”. Click on that and on the page shown look for “mysql” then look to the right-hand side. If you see green icon, MySQL is working and the problem is with your site. If you see a red icon then MySQL is not working and now you can prove it to your Hoster.

    If a lot of the time you see the red icon when you check, then it might be worth the time & effort to move to another Hoster.
