Database Error when linking to Facebook

  • Ever since the latest update, I cannot post my blog to Facebook. Even when cutting and pasting the link, I receive a “Database Error” where the post title would normally go. It worked fine before the update. This started after the update.

    Sometimes this can be caused by bad OpenGraph data (the data on your page Facebook uses to determine what the preview image, title, and description should be). This can be fixed sometimes by using the Facebook OG Object Debugger tool. Paste the URL, click debug. You should see the OG data with your “Database Error” in it. You’d then hit “Fetch new scrape information” and hopefully it’ll show correct information.
