    Hi,

I’ve recently started seeing the following error popping up in the PHP error log. Usually it happens once a day and is always connected with Geodirectory. There are some obviously spam entries reported, but I have no events/places with such entries. So not sure what to make of it and what could be causing it. Please let me know what could be the problem. Thanks

usually this error shows after a few warnings like this:

Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /home/example.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/includes/general-functions.php on line 724

Hi @woorooo, I’m really sorry that we missed this.

I’m going to ask a developer to check it out ASAP. In the meantime, please remove all the junk links from your post.

I don’t think the wp.org moderators would appreciate seeing links to a site like that on the wp.org forums.

If you don’t remove them, I’ll assume you are adding them on purpose and will flag this post for them to take it down.

    Thanks,

@paoltaia FYI, the OP has only 60 minutes to edit a post. After that, it requires moderator intervention. In cases like this, there’s no need to assume bad intent on the OP’s part; just use the report topic button to steer one of us here.

Thanks for letting me know @sterndata.

@woorooo you’ll have to copy back the error (without the links) or our developer won’t have much to work with now.

Otherwise please use our support system at wpgeodirectory.com/support

Probably a better idea to post it through that website. I hate giving air to spammers.

@sterndata and @paoltaia unfortunately I’ve accidentally cleaned the php error log recently. Also there were no more errors since I had posted this support ticket. So I don’t have a copy of that error anymore. However I did a few things that might have helped. I’ve increased security levels to ‘high’ in cloudflare for wp-admin and ‘add listing’ pages. Probably one of this pages allowed this type of errors coming in.

Not sure how this works, but I guess I should try and lower the security back again and see if the error returns and also get back to you with it again? What are your thoughts on it?

    Hi @woorooo,

Do you have any error backtrace in error log at server side? If you see an error again then open a ticket on our support site https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/.

Please title a ticket “FAO Kiran” and the team will assign it to me.

    Thanks,
    Kiran
