• So I followed the upgrade tutorial step by step and conducted an upgrade to 2.3.1

Everything seems to be working, except for the MAIN PAGE,
    I get the following errors:

    on top:
WordPress database error: [Table ‘golden_wordpress.wp_post2cat’ doesn’t exist]
    SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS wp_posts.* FROM wp_posts LEFT JOIN wp_post2cat ON (wp_posts.ID = wp_post2cat.post_id) WHERE 1=1 AND post_type = ‘post’ AND (post_status = ‘publish’ OR post_status = ‘private’) AND category_id <> 4 ORDER BY post_date DESC LIMIT 0, 5

    Right sidebar:
    ——————————————————————————–

WordPress database error: [Table ‘golden_wordpress.wp_post2cat’ doesn’t exist]
    SELECT wp_posts.ID, wp_posts.post_title, wp_posts.post_content FROM wp_posts, wp_post2cat WHERE wp_posts.ID = wp_post2cat.post_id AND wp_post2cat.category_id=4 AND wp_posts.post_status=’publish’ AND wp_posts.post_password=” AND wp_posts.post_date < ‘2007-12-05 19:20:11’ ORDER BY wp_posts.post_date DESC LIMIT 8

    MAIN – Centerscreen:

    “Not Found
Oh no! You’re looking for something which just isn’t here! Fear not however, errors are to be expected, and luckily there are tools on the sidebar for you to use in your search for what you need.

You likely have a theme or plugin that is not 2.3.x compatible.

No, because I switched to the “classic” theme right now and get the same errors:

Page “not found” in the middle
    and
WordPress database error: [Table ‘golden_wordpress.wp_post2cat’ doesn’t exist]
    SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS wp_posts.* FROM wp_posts LEFT JOIN wp_post2cat ON (wp_posts.ID = wp_post2cat.post_id) WHERE 1=1 AND post_type = ‘post’ AND (post_status = ‘publish’ OR post_status = ‘private’) AND category_id <> 4 ORDER BY post_date DESC LIMIT 0, 5
    on top

So, did you deactivate all the plugins and the error is still there?

ok I deactivated ALL plugins and it appears to be working !

Thank you guys for the fast/great help <3

Now you can activate them one by one and watch when the error appears. That’s the faulty plugin ??

    Done and found:
Apparently it was the -Sideblog 2.0 A simple aside plugin- (Licensed under the GPL By Kates Gasis)

I guess I’d better upgrade to a new theme as well then ??

Once again, thank you very much for the help !
