• Hi there.

    I have just installed wordpress on to a test XP environment (clean setup).
    After running ‘https://localhost/blog/wp-admin/install.php’ I can create a ‘blog title’ and enter an email address.

    Underneath ‘Install wordpress’ button is the following message;

    WordPress database error Table ‘win32develop.wp_options’ doesn’t exist for query INSERT INTO wp_options (option_name, option_value, autoload) VALUES (‘cron’, ‘a:2:{i:1219475892;a:1:{s:17:\”wp_update_plugins\”;a:1:{s:32:\”40cd750bba9870f18aada2478b24840a\”;a:3:{s:8:\”schedule\”;s:10:\”twicedaily\”;s:4:\”args\”;a:0:{}s:8:\”interval\”;i:43200;}}}s:7:\”version\”;i:2;}’, ‘yes’) made by add_option WordPress database error Table ‘win32develop.wp_options’ doesn’t exist for query INSERT INTO wp_options (option_name, option_value, autoload) VALUES (‘auth_salt’, ‘cmafGlS*FSu2’, ‘yes’) made by add_option

    Things get even uglier if I proceedto install.

    I am using the following config

    MySQL 6.06
    PHP 5.2.6
    WordPress 2.6.1

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
