database field names

I was surprised to see that when I duplicate a view from the “all fields” tab, it does not use the field name I enter in at least two wp database. The following two columns are named based on the view I duplicated from, rather then the one being created:

post_name
guid

That made it very difficult to do a SQL query without a lot of digging around.

Is this a bug or a feature? If it’s a feature, I feel like it’s better to recreate my views now (from scratch) and then never use duplicate.
