Database for data from input form

I have created a new webstie and blog which are running fine. i have created a webpage with an input form for readers to input their data on events/places. What will happen is that if they want to post data they have to go to the webpage, input the data, and then they can return to the blog.

Before i go any further, I was wondering if there is a way to collect data in an input form/table on a blog page, and then get that data to Pages or Posts?

If not that, then once they input thru the webpage, I will need to send that data somewhere to create a neat table and then Post that table of information.
