database for user input

  • I’m in the process of moving a school’s HTML website to WordPress (new to WordPress). We have one page that collects alumni info and…

    1. inserts into a MySQL database
    2. also sends info in email to us

    I’m pretty sure this is possible w/ WordPress, but I don’t know where to begin. Is there a plugin to help us do this?

    On another page, we recall the info for display. But, I’ll deal with that later.
