Database integration

    Iam not very well versed with code or WordPress sites but I currently have a website that runs on two themes (Kleo) and (classipress) everything works fine at the moment but I require an update for WordPress on both themes alongs with an update on the themes themselves.

    My issue is that I have been told that I cannot use the classipress theme which uses my current database on Kleo in the classifieds section. There has been some customization so that when a user responds to an ad it is linked directly to the users buddy mailbox and opens the profiles of the users name in buddypress etc.

    If we update to the updated versions for themes and WordPress is it still possible.
