Database message

    When I attempt the migration I get the following message – “Error! The destination database could not be validated. Please check the destination WordPress and retry.”

    How do I resolve this error message? I use Filezilla for FTP. Copied the settings and verified the directory path with my hosting service which is 1and1 for the destination. Source host is GoDaddy.

  • We checked the logs and found out that the error occurred because we were not able to find WordPress installed and configured on the path you mentioned.

    The path you need to enter is the relative FTP folder path and not the absolute path.
