Database not connecting, repairs says fixed, nada.

  • I received a message that my database is not connecting. Said to add this code to fix it:
    “define(‘WP_ALLOW_REPAIR’, true);”

    I added it, refreshed, repaired, and still receiving the same message.

    I have also tried reinstalling my entire WP package with no plugins. No dice.

    Thoughts, suggestions, help?

  • Look in your wp-config.php and be sure your database name and user name settings haven’t changed for some reason. Check with your host and see if they have database server problems and check your database settings with them.
