    Hi Greg,

    It depends on your needs. If you own a site and just update it from time to time, so are the only one who does the updates – it’s okay to store settings in the database.

    We have several developers, several servers to present our work to clients and we use GIT VCS to store all the code. So keeping these settings inside the file make it easier to transfer settings from one server to another. You just pull changes from git and get updated configurations without the need to update the database.
