This is a little strange. All the posts in my database disappear about every three days. The site itself is fine, just no posts. If I repair the tables, it comes back but I can’t figure out how to prevent it or really fix it.

It’s a family site I’ve been running since 2006 so it has gotten big. 3400 posts, 88,000 photos, 35 meg database. I use VaultPress so I feel pretty good about data backup/integrity but it’s annoying and I would like to fix it in case it does lead to some sort of irrevocable situation.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks in advance.

I have. Bluehost. No resolution. Just keep repairing.

since this is not WP core issue, then the likely caouse seems to be the database server. Or something external triggering the DB server to delete your posts.

May or may not be related, but Bluehost has had some ‘disappearing data’ issues recently (as may be found in this forum). Might be worth talking to them more about this in view of the recent issues?
