Database Problem?

Hi,

For the past few days, my WordPress Admin panel has been very slow, even though my internet connection is very fast. It takes almost a full minute to log into my WordPress Admin panel. It takes about that long to publish one post. And editing theme files takes even longer.

The hosting company insists their servers are not the problem. The rep told me my database is very large and that I need to upload the wp-cache plugin, but that hasn’t helped either.

So if there’s anything else you guys can think of, please let me know.
