• Hi there,
sorry to bother you… two days ago I got hacked (and they made it really well, even deleting my backup disk etc.) despite that I got a .sql to recover my database (i’ll try to recover data as images and upload after this) and I found two problems:

    1) Typical CHARSET problem: even when the .sql indicates that every tables is ENGINE=MyISAM AUTO_INCREMENT=72796 DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8 ; when I see the site I got every single accent/character wrong like: “Denken ??ber” instead of “Denken über”

Any Idea on how to fix that?

    2) The backup and the new install have different table suffixes; i.e.: i used to use wp_users and the default install on my new hosting is blog_S23rs_users
Question: Can I just change the table name or should I create the tables EXACTLY as in my backup? If so, how can I do that? ??

    Many many thanks in advance
    mariano
