Database Questions

I’ve experienced a massive loss in my hit count on my site. down to 400 from 1400 daily. This started in mid september. It appears as though google has lost about 50% of the pages and they are not being indexed. Anyway, i’m nosing around in wordpress and cpanel and i’ve noticed for one the site title is now “WEBSITE”(2) almost like someone cloned the site but the original doesn’t exist. So i started looking at the databases and it appears it’s no longer using the original xxxxxx_wp1 database. it’s using a different database called xxxxxx_kz1. but the wp1 database still exists. I’d really like to understand why wordpress would just create another Database and maybe what that (2) is all about. Also, if using another data base, i think that would be completely different attachment IDs and page IDs for the sites… so when google crawled the site via instructions from the sitemap… could all those IDs be wrong. which i am thinking would cause loosing my page ranks.
