Database Search Plugin – Does this exist?

I want to do this but have limited WordPress experience, so am wondering if it’s possible with a plugin.

I want my customers to be able to go to a page on my website and enter their email address to see if their email address is in my database or not. If it is, it returns some sort of “yes” message, if it isn’t then it returns some sort of “no” message.

Possible?
