Database setting

I have two domains on Alibaba and I will back backup my current website and restore it on the second domain (THis one will be for test proposal)
My question is, do I have to change database credential before duplicate it on my second domain?
or it will automatic direct content to current database associate to this second domain?

I am not sure if it could lead me to error to have two websites using the same database.
I don’t want them on same database.
