Database size ffluctuating

  • Hi,

    I have just had a look at the size of my database and it has fluctuated significantly! In the last ten days, the database has had MB sizes (chronologically with the last MB current): 185, 169, 80, 80, 80, 80, 79, 61, 61, 132.

    Does anyone know what is going on? It seems ridiculously weird and was wondering if someone was messing with my head!

    Any help would be super awesome ??

  • How are you determining the size of your database? if it is via your hosting account management interface, there may be an issue with that interface. I’d suggest asking your hosts about it.

    Thanks esmi. I’ll try asking my hosts about it, but they’re never particularly helpful. I saw the change in database size on the BackUpWordPress download database page…

    It just seems so strange that there has been such a fluctuation! My fear is that there is something in there going all haywire :0
