    Hi guys,

Does PeepSo use custom database tables for activity, groups, notifications etc. (like BuddyPress / BuddyBoss)? Or does it use custom post types and store everything in wp_posts and wp_postmeta?

Also do you have a REST API?

    Cheers

Some things are in wp_posts and meta, and some are stored in custom tables. We plan to eventually abandon the WP tables completely, though.

There is no REST API yet.

Thanks Matt. Do you have an ETA on when you’ll be introducing both these features? I’ll be running a very large scale community so custom tables will be crucial. At the moment the only well supported option which offers this seems to be BuddyBoss. I also need to create some custom REST API based integrations.

Unfortunately no, we are not actively working on neither of these 2 features
