    Hi,

I got some problems with my database after using WP-Optimizer. At the moment my website shows only the front page, but no internal links works.

I have found out that the problem is not in the plugins or themes. It is in the database in my understanding. I did some analysing and found table wp_wfls_role_counts got a message “The storage engine for the table doesn’t support c…” Unfortunately the last words cannot be seen. I’m using phpmyadmin on cpanel. Just wondering is this something I should get worried or can this be linked to my website link problem.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I’m having the same problem; “The storage engine for the table doesn’t support check”

I assume this will be fixed in a future update.

For now, I use this plugin, which is where I saw this message:

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/index-wp-mysql-for-speed/

The plugin offered to update that table to the correct storage. Back your database, click a button, and it’s fixed.

@millionleaves thanks. The plugin did make a difference to the error messages. Thanks. However, it didn’t help with the original non-working-links-problem. But at least this thing is now sorted.

We’re glad you were able to get our database table sorted. I would have said to ask your hosting provider for support or to seek out someone that is knowledgeable in MySQL. I found several links online that suggested running a repair on all the database tables. That might be a good idea. This could fix the links issue as well. You also might want to reach out to the WP-Optimizer team for advice. You might try resetting the permalinks before you try anything as I recall that sometimes fixes weird WordPress issues like links not working.

Not trying to pick at you, but hopefully you understand why people say to backup the database before doing anything to it. I think that happened to me once a long time ago too.
