Two tables of my WP installation have grown much bigger than all others:

    [prefix]_looksee3_core
    [prefix]_looksee3_scan_files

Is this normal? I’ve run the usual repair/optimize/”sweep” operations, and these tables still take up the majority of my database size.

    Hi @slomeli79,

Yeah, those two tables can grow rather large depending on how many files you are scanning. (Information about each file from each scan is stored as a row in the files table.)

If you click the “Scan History” tab (from the main file scan page), there is a “Data Retention” sidebar box with some settings to help keep that data under control. Make sure “Enable Pruning” is checked, and choose a somewhat small number of scan history to keep (somewhere between 5-10 is probably all you need). Hit “Save” to save the settings.

Pruning runs each time a new scan completes, so if you set that value to something lower than the current number of scans in the history, you can just run a new scan and it’ll clear out the old ones for you.
