database unavailable messages- homepage broken

so I am hosted on Mediatemple with a DV server, and lately I have been getting email alerts telling me “dovecolt-solr” and”mysql” are down, followed by emails saying they have recovered and are now operational.

This has gone on for awhile, maybe once a week, but the past few days it’s been more frequent, and now it seems to have messed up my database in some way. When I log in to wordpress, I get prompted to repair my database. When I do, I get these errors:

wp_posts: 1 client is using or hasn’t closed the table properly
wp_comments: 4 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly
wp_options: Table is marked as crashed
wp_postmeta: 10 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly
wp_term_taxonomy: 1 client is using or hasn’t closed the table properly
wp_term_relationships: 1 client is using or hasn’t closed the table properly
wp_commentmeta: 4 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly

usually the site will then work for a couple hours, but then I get the same message and need to repeat.

My posts are all there, but my main homepage doesn’t display them. But if you click on a menu or sidebar post they show up

Any help would be great, I am not super savvy here. More savvy then the average Joe, but not an expert by any means.
