    Hi,

The latest version 5.0.0 showed a notice it needed the database to be updated. After running that process it showed an admin notice that says it has been finished with a “thanks” button.

On several of my websites running on multiple providers that notice didn’t disappear after clicking the button (in the orders list) but kept coming back.

I know how I can update the database to make it disappear, since it is not the first time a notice wouldn’t disappear, but I rather not have to phpmyadmin to remove notices.

Can you please make the disappearance of notices more reliable in future? It is annoying when they keep coming back and they take a lot of space.

All our websites run the latest WordPress version (5.6.1) and php version 7.4.x

    Thanks,

    Hans

  • Same here…

Running WC on a couple of sites / servers and the notices are utterly persistent, cannot get rid of them :-/

Not sure what the culprit might be but I also would appreciate to have them not re-appear every time.

    Thanks for looking into this.

This is being addressed in WC 5.1, see #28500

Hi all. This issue should have been resolved with the release of WooCommerce 5.1. I’m going to go ahead and resolve this post, @hanswitteprins, but please start a new issue if you have any additional questions.
